Peddarayudu (1995) is a Telugu action film directed by the Raviraja Pinisetty and starring Mohan Babu. The movie had Mohan Babu playing double roles, as brothers. Mohan Babu's friend, Tamil actor Rajinikanth starred in the project in a guest role towards the climax. Soundarya also starred in the film.

Pedarayudu (Mohanbabu) is a very kind-hearted, disciplined man. He sits on the ancestral throne in his village to do justice (similar to panchayat). He hears all the cases and gives solutions and punishments to the wrong-doers. His wife, Bhanupriya admires and respects him a lot. His brothers Mohanbabu and Raja Ravindra fear for him and also have a lot of respect for him as he has brought them up as his children. The young Mohanbabu marries Soundarya, daughter of an industrialist Satyanarayana. She at first never liked Pedarayudu and her husband for being so timid before his brother but later transforms after knowing his greatness from her father.Raja Ravindra loves his paternal cousin(Gaja Anantharaj)'s daughter. In the flashback, Paparayudu(Rajanikanth) father of Pedarayudu orders Gaja Anantharaj to marry his servant's daughter whom he raped, though he is his sister(Jayanthi)'s son. His brother-in-law(Chalapathi Rao) shoots at him as he is disappointed by his verdict.Enraged Paparayudu gives his final verdict before dying to abandon their family and whoever visits his house will receive the same punishment and also not to share even a glass of water with them. Gaja Anantharaj from then builds envy on his uncle's family and waits for an opportunity to take revenge on them. He plans to bring a lady (Subhasri) as a teacher to the school in the village and tells her to make young Mohanbabu fall for her. She does so to save her father who is in the hands of Gaja Anantharaj. He kills her and makes the villagers believe that Mohanbabu has done this. Pedarayudu sentences 10 years of exile for his brother's family. Now Gaja Anantharaj comes to know of his daughter's love and tries to kill Raja Ravindra with the help of his goons. Mohanbabu goes in rescue of him and pregnant Soundarya goes to Pedarayudu to convey this message. Jayanthi rushes to Pedarayudu and reveals the truth and tells that he punished his brother without committing any mistake. Mohanbabu takes revenge on Gaja Anantharaj and pedarayudu dies on knowing that he gave a wrong verdict. Now Mohanbabu is shown taking the ancestral throne from his brother

The movie revolves around a family of four: a young civil engineer Shekar (Raghuvaran), his wife, Chitra (Revathi), and their two young children Arjun (Tarun) and Anu (Shruti).

Review:
The movie opens with Chitra giving birth to her third child but unfortunately the girl is still-born. A couple of years later, Shekar and his family move to a new apartment complex. The family seems to have moved on from their grief due to the still-born child incident and live happily. After a few altercations with the kids in the colony, Arjun and Anu are accepted by all the kids as their own. The kids are all for pulling pranks and generally causing a clamor around the apartment colony. One such constant joke they play on a mentally retarded ex-watchman (Janakaraj) of the colony, much to the chagrin of his wife. The only tenant they are afraid of is an ex-convict (Prabhu Ganesan) who lives alone in one of the apartments.

Review:
This movie begins with a scientist Prof. Ramdas (Tinnu Anand) doing vigorous experiments to invent a 'Time Machine' at his home laboratory. After tremendous effort eventually he becomes successful. His daughter Hema (played by Mohini) and her fiancée Krishna Kumar (Nandamuri Balakrishna) accidentally get into the time machine and visit the past (time of Krishnadeva Raya's Empire). At another instance, the couple gets ended up in a fictional 'Future' set up by the 'Time Machine' where in, the world is about to get destroyed through radiation effect after the end of Third World War. This movie has been developed and was inspired on the lines of "back to the future" movies but is very well made with regards to originality & regionalism. The story revolves around one more important aspect, the Krishnadeva Raya's Empire - diamond in a highly secured museum. A high profile thief Raja Verma (Amrish Puri) has a queer hobby of burglary of expensive diamonds from all over the world museums. He makes an attempt to rob the diamond in the present time, which was witnessed by a school kid - Hema's cousin (Tarun Kumar) - on his school excursion to the museum. He is trapped inside the museum and happens to see the robbery happening in front of his eyes and the kid manages to escape from the robbers and gets rescued from the museum by Krishna Kumar. The rest of the plot has many twists and turns. This contributes to the film's visual treat and laugh riot.

Review:
Excellent movie. first dts surround among Balayya's films, a perfect commercial movie with an interesting plot and believably nice acting. Music by Mani sharma in title rolls, BGM, songs hurled him to the top. Ran in Chitralaya theater in Vizag for 175 days. This created a trend/blueprint (that a hero should run away and later reveal his greatness), for all movies which followed it , almost half of Balayya's later movies followed similar pattern till audience said "no no not anymore". Plot inspiration could have come to Vijayendra Prasad from Baasha.

Review:It is the story of two naughty kids who are orphaned in an accident and are forced to live with their new guardian, the strict disciplinarian and army man - their grandfather. They have never seen him before due to differences between their parents and the grandpa. They get to have a first hand experience of the reason for these differences. While the plot is sad and very sympathy evoking, the movie itself is very light hearted to a large extent, and is a continuous laugh riot. The children's performances are especially noteworthy. How the gandpa and the children eventually warm up to each other, and the various troubles that the cook and other family members go through trying to raise the children make for a very interesting and fun viewing.
